National Senior Citizens Day

On August 21 of each year, we celebrate National Senior Citizens Day. Petra recognizes the invaluable contributions of our country’s mature population. They’ve worked hard, raised families, volunteered, and shared their skills and talents with their communities. Our society continues to benefit from their efforts.

Petra believes individuals who have reached the age of 62 or older deserve the opportunity to enjoy a well-maintained and affordable residence. We provide units throughout our properties where seniors can live in the comfort of their own apartment. Petra also strives to be more than a landlord to seniors by facilitating connections with outside service agencies who can help them age in place.
